The Gym + Aztec Trashwhores and Biscoff Blondies

Hello! Today is a big day for me, because I am taking Levi to the gym to test out the child watch center there. To be honest I don’t want to do it and will probably worry about him the whole time (even though I will only be one room away), but he needs to interact with other little ones. None of my friends have any kids yet, so Levi really has never gotten to play with other babies. Also I think it will be good for me to have an hour or so to myself to be able to workout at the gym! I have no idea how he will deal with it or act, so wish us luck!

So until recently I had never heard of the Australian brand One Teaspoon. After  seeing some of their clothing at Kristi, and receiving a pair of their shorts- I am hooked. One Teaspoon’s website is incredible and I am in love with all of their shorts and dresses. (You should definitely check it out!)

These are the shorts that I got and they fit perfectly. You know I have said a million timed before that it is near impossible for me to find shorts that fit. Well, these are the exception! They are super short- but so are my legs, so it works out perfectly (;

And yes they are called Aztec Trashwhores…I actually find the name pretty funny- Stu thought it was ridiculous haha.

Moving on to these bars of amazingness…

If you have been reading for awhile, then you know I have an obsession with Biscoff spread. Like I could literally eat a whole entire jar- EASILY. So when I give in and buy it, I have to either use it in a recipe or I seriously will not stop eating it. Remember when I said my Chocolate Chunk Biscoff Cookies were the best dessert that I had ever made?  Well Sally’s Biscoff blondies may have given my cookies a run for their money.

Sally uses white chocolate chips in her blondies, but I chose to use dark chocolate because that’s what I had on hand. Either is fine. I also chose to use up the remaining Biscoff in the jar to make a frosting for the blondies. The frosting is definitely not necessary (they taste amazing without it), but highly recommended! I mean it’s either use the remaining Biscoff in a frosting or eat it straight out of the jar, right?

biscoff blondies

- 1/2 C. Biscoff spread
- 1 C. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 C. chocolate chips (Sally used white chocolate chips)
For the Frosting:
- 1/2 C. butter, softened
- 1/2 C. Biscoff spread
- 1 C. confectioners sugar

- Preheat oven to 350
- In a large bowl combine melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla and biscoff spread. Stir until completely blended.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add dry ingredients and stir into wet. Batter will be thick!
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into greased 8×8 baking dish. Bake for 25-28 min.

For the frosting:
- With a hand mixer, blend butter, Biscoff spread and powdered sugar.
- Spread onto completely cooled brownies.
- If desired, melt remaining chocolate chips left in the bag and drizzle on top of frosting.

So just go out and buy some Biscoff and make something. And then tell me about it so I can live vicariously through
you since I am eating healthy this week :/

Have a great day (:
